DESCRIPTION

To make tea and coffee great

The water boiled in Nambu iron kettle tastes mellow and sweet even when drunk straight.

This is due to the effect of iron leaching into the hot water, but in order for the iron to leach out, the inside cannot be enameled or otherwise treated, and rust is liable to occur.

Nambu ironware is baked using the traditional technique called kama-yaki to produce an oxide layer on the surface. It leads to "rust resistance" and "water quality improvement" and makes tea and coffee taste better.

A work of art.

I am grateful to Grandmaster Kikuchi for his dedication in making this incredible work of art. I would also like to thank everyone in Oitomi for their excellent customer service, and for delivering their amazing kettles to Europe. As for the size, I was under the impression that 1L would be a lot larger but it is not (just perfect for solo or with a guest or two). Delivery was very fast. To anyone thinking to purchase one, I would say that the saying "an artefact to be used for life and even to pass down as a heirloom to family" is very true. Thank you so much.

Dear Georgia,
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! I'm delighted to hear that you consider the kettle a work of art. Grandmaster Kikuchi and the entire Oitomi team truly appreciate your recognition of their dedication and craftsmanship. We're thrilled that you found the customer service excellent and the delivery to Europe speedy.
Best regards,
Oitomi Team
