CARE INSTRUCTIONS

When using induction heating, use low to medium heat.
Do not wash with detergent.
Do not wash using a sponge or scrubber.
Wipe off the excess water around the lid and other parts well, as discoloration and rusting can easily occur.
Please note that cooking near this pot may result in oil stains and discoloration due to oil splashes.
If the gas flame reaches the body of the pot, the part is likely to discolor, so be careful not to increase the heat too much.
Used over an open flame, the base will gradually turn white.

Great Kettle

I bought this upon a recommendation of someone I met while in Japan. I’ve really enjoyed using it and feel it will last forever when properly taken care of.

Japanese Craftsmanship

I don’t think words can begin to describe the Exquisite level of detail in this Nambu Iron Tetsubin. I am looking forward to the changes that will occur during the transformation of this kettle from frequent use, believe it is called ‘Wabi Sabi.’ I am also hoping the increased intake of bioavailable divalent iron will improve my health; Thank You, my friends in Japan!
