DESCRIPTION
This iron kettle was crafted by the sixth generation.
The term "Houju (Cintamani)" refers to a wish-fulfilling jewel in both Hindu and Buddhist traditions, while "Uma" translates to "horse" in Japanese.
The imagery portrays the iron kettle as a precious jewel, adorned with depictions of two horses traversing a field.
Within Japanese culture, the horse symbolizes prosperity, and these two auspicious symbols conjure notions of happiness.
The Hisago color represents Oitomi's exclusive aging paint technique.
