DESCRIPTION
This iron kettle was made to commemorate the involvement of a group from the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan in photographing black holes in their home town of Oshu City.
Gradations of red and orange swirling around a black hole are expressed on an iron kettle and a trivet mat.
The traditional pattern of Arare looks like stars in the universe.
